Selecting this item will start a new game. The score for the current game will be recorded in the scoreboard unless you haven’t yet made any moves.
• Close
This item will close the current window. If the current window is the game window then the program will save the current state and exit.
• Show Rules
This item will open the help window and display the rules for the current game.
• Play All
This item will play all available cards to the foundations.
• Repeat Game
This will cause the current game to be restarted.
• Page Setup… & Print…
These items control the printing of the text in the help windows. Remember, this is a Mac, so what you see is what you get. If you don’t like the margins make the window bigger.
• Select “Games & Decks” Folder…
Use this menu item to select the folder where the extra games and decks files are stored.
• Preferences…
This menu item displays a dialog box which allows you to modify a number of optional for the game. These include the background colors and patterns, optional dialogs, and card animation.
• Quit
Exit the program while saving the current state of any game in progress.
Edit
• Undo
Undo the last move made. Remember, to be fair, some moves may not be undone.
• The other options in this menu function as they do in other programs. You may use them to copy help text from this window into another program.
Games
Select the game you wish to play from this menu. The currently selected game will be checked. Selecting an item from this menu will immediately start a new game.
Decks
Select the deck you wish to use from this menu. If you change decks the game window will be redrawn to reflect the change.
Score
• Show Score
Selecting this will display the current score in a small floating window.
• Show Scoreboard
This menu item will display the scoreboard.
• Clear Scoreboard…
Selecting this will clear all of the saved scoring information from the scoreboard.
Options
• Auto Play
Select this option to have all available cards played to the foundations as they are uncovered. This option is reset if you select a new game to play from the Games menu.
• Unlimited Redeal
In some games the stock may be turned an unlimited number of times. This option may only be used before any moves are made. This option is reset if you select a new game to play from the Games menu.
• Turn One & Turn Three
In some games you may change the number of cards turned from the stock to the wastepile. These options may only be used before any moves are made. This option is reset if you select a new game to play from the Games menu.
